Oregon Energy Forum Breakfast Meeting

March 30: The City of Gresham Wastewater Treatment Plant became energy net-zero in February 2016, after 5 years of energy conservation and energy production projects. Senior Engineer, Alan Johnston, will discuss the planning, budgeting, and implementation of the projects, including grant funding and net metering with PGE; the details of the final installation, including the two 400 kW CAT cogeneration engines, biogas treatment system, and FOG receiving facilities; and the operating results, including the energy savings and energy production data leading to 0 kWh electric utility bills each month since February. Learn more.
