Prosperidad Oregon Launches as State's Only Latino-Led CDFI
After years of planning and building trust, Prosperidad — the state's only Latino-led Community Development Financial Institution or CDFI — will expand access to capital for Latino families, entrepreneurs and community. Oregon Community Foundation, Meyer Memorial Trust and The Collins Foundation supported the effort from the start because CDFIs are proven tools for growing economic opportunity. Backed by the Oregon Impact Fund of OCF, these institutions put communities first and returns second. Prosperidad is more than a financial institution — it's a movement for lasting wealth and stability.
What sets Prosperidad apart is its leadership and timing. In a moment of economic uncertainty, its founders didn't wait for ideal conditions — they are building the institution from the ground up.
